Replaceable nylon/PETG clips that snap into holes along blade edges. Provides variable standoff distances without re-cutting blades.

🔗 Laminated Blade Connections - Offset Plug Weld

For laminated blades (multiple layers stacked), use staggered hole patterns to enable sequential plug welding from top only.

🔥 Weld Cell Configuration

Fixture design must account for customer's welding equipment capabilities.

Configuration Fixture Impact
Stationary Table All welds must be accessible from above or sides. May need repositioning.
Single-Axis Positioner Can rotate fixture 360° around one axis. Design apertures for underside access.
Trunnion / 2-Axis Indexer Full orientation control. Can weld from any angle. Maximum flexibility in fixture design.

🏗️ Base Plate Stiffening Options

For large or heavy-duty fixtures, the base plate may need additional stiffening to prevent deflection.

Option A: Tubular Sections with Forklift Skids

Rectangular or square tube sections welded to the underside of the base plate. Serves dual purpose as stiffeners and forklift skid positions.

Option B: Laminated Blades on -Z Side with Feet

Blades protruding downward from the base plate (negative Z direction) with feet connecting to a secondary base blade.
